1. How do I submit a leave request?
Fill out the required fields in the Leave Request form, including the leave type, start and end dates, and reason for leave. Once completed, click the "Submit" button.
2. What types of leave can I request?
You can request different types of leave, such as vacation leave, sick leave, personal leave, and others. The available options will be listed in the "Leave Type" dropdown.
3. How far in advance should I submit my leave request?
Leave requests should ideally be submitted at least 2 days in advance to allow sufficient time for approval and planning. Emergency leaves can be submitted on shorter notice but should be communicated directly to your manager.
4. Who approves my leave request?
Your leave request will be routed to your immediate supervisor or department head for initial approval. Afterward, it may require further approval from the HR department, depending on the leave type.
5. How can I check the status of my leave request?
You can check the status of your leave request by messaging HR Department.
6. What should I do if my leave request is rejected?
If your leave request is rejected, you will receive a notification with the reason for rejection. You can discuss the matter with your supervisor or resubmit the request with modifications, if applicable.
7. Can I cancel or modify my leave request after submission?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your leave request before it is approved. After approval, you will need to contact your supervisor or HR to make any changes.
8. What happens if I exceed my leave balance?
If you exceed your leave balance, the excess days may be treated as unpaid leave or deducted from your next leave balance, depending on company policy. Please review the leave policy or contact HR for more details.
9. Is there a limit to how many leave days I can take at once?
The limit on consecutive leave days depends on the type of leave and company policy. Please refer to the company’s leave policy for specific limits or consult with HR.
10. Can I request leave during a probationary period?
Leave during a probationary period may be restricted. Please check with your supervisor or HR for guidance based on your situation.
11. What documentation is required for certain types of leave?
For sick leave, a medical certificate may be required if the leave exceeds 2 days. Other types of leave may also require supporting documentation, such as a personal leave letter or travel itinerary for vacation leave.
